University of Maryland To Break Ground on New School of Public Policy Building

The University of Maryland, joined by state and local leaders, will celebrate the groundbreaking of the new School of Public Policy building on Tuesday, October 29. The new facility is designed for the critical exploration of the world’s most pressing issues and will support the School's commitment to developing future leaders in the art of policy and governance. Bringing together five growing research and policy impact center, the 70,000 square-foot academic building will provide a place for the campus to shape and lead the civic sphere, while also promoting local, national and global public good.
