Elizabeth M. Bonsignore is an Assistant Research Scientist and Director of KidsTeam at the University of Maryland College of Information Studies. She is also an affiliate of the Human-Computer Interaction Lab. Dr. Bonsignore's research interests include User Experience and Interaction, Learning Sciences, Participatory Design, and Participatory Learning. She received her Ph.D. in Information Studies from the University of Maryland. Dr. Bonsignore is passionate about designing technology that supports children's learning and development. She co-directs KidsTeam, a research group focusing on developing technology for children. Dr. Bonsignore has also worked as a research assistant in the Human-Computer Interaction Lab (HCIL) at the University of Maryland. She has published several research papers and has presented her work at various conferences. Dr. Bonsignore is an active research community member and has collaborated with researchers from different universities. She is also a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction (SIGCHI). Dr. Bonsignore's work has been recognized and awarded by various organizations. She is a highly respected faculty member and has made significant contributions to the field of Human-Computer Interaction.
