City of College Park Hosts Annual College Park Day 2022

COLLEGE PARK, Md - On Saturday, October 15, from noon to 6 p.m., the City of College Park will host its annual College Park Day at the College Park Aviation Museum and Airport. The fun-filled and community-based event allows locals to engage with each other while learning more about the City’s amenities.

Expected to attract thousands of people from the City and the surrounding areas, College Park Day features live music and performances, a kids zone with dedicated family stage, local restaurants and food vendors, free admission to the College Park Aviation Museum, helicopter and plane fly-in, and much more.

Additional performers and guests include:

City of College Park Mayor Patrick L. Wojahn and City Councilmembers

Main Stage: Wild Anacostias Brass Band, East River Band, Groovalicious, MONSOON & S.T.O.R.M. Reggae Band

Family Stage: Barry Louis Polisar Family Concert, The Great Zucchini Magic Show, Zig Zag the Kids Party Magician, Sense of Wonder, Bridgette Michael’s Childrens Music

Local festival food options offered by Taqueria Habanero, Cocineros, Taim Mediterranean Kitchen, Amity Kitchen, Big D’s Wings, Jamaican Country Kitchen, Kodi’s Grill, Mr. Magic, Tatak Pinoy Fil-Asian Cuisine and Street Food, Cakelady Desserts and Turtle’s Tasty Treats

Beer options (for those 21+) offered By Denizens Brewing Co. and Franklin’s Brewery

Performances by UMD groups Gymkana and the Terrapin Brass Quartet

A public safety demonstration from Prince George’s County Public Safety Crews, including fire, police, and EMS

Helicopter and Plane Fly-In

70+ community non-profit, University, business, and government agency exhibitors and craft vendors
