City of College Park and the University of Maryland to Host Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for New City Hall

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The City of College Park, in partnership with the University of Maryland, will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new City of College Park City Hall.

The 95,000-square-foot space is a joint partnership between the City of College Park and the University of Maryland. Through this unprecedented effort, the building will be anchored by City Hall offices and Council Chambers, with offices for the University of Maryland, community meeting rooms, retail space operated by Terrapin Development Company, and a large public plaza for residents and visitors. The collaboration leverages the City's investment in a long-planned new City Hall with the University's Greater College Park initiative, which is harnessing over $2 billion in public and private developments to create one of the best college towns in the country.

Free parking is available in the Downtown College Park Garage

COVID-19 REGULATIONS:

Masks will be required during the building tour, regardless of vaccination status. KN95 masks are encouraged.
