The Lost Diploma of Pyon Su

Pyon Su, the first Korean to graduate from any University outside of Korea, was tragically killed just a few months after earning his diploma from what was then the Maryland Agricultural College. That diploma was lost for the last century. When Pyon Su's Great-Great-Great-Nephew discovered the diploma had been preserved by the Calvert family, he jumped at the chance to reclaim a bit of history.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - A new online application conceived and developed by the Student Government Association at the University of Maryland allows UMD students to easily register to vote in Maryland or their home state on a secure university website. Registration information is electronically transmitted to the State Board of Elections for processing.
