Elana Fine is managing director of the Robert H. Smith School of Business Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship. She also serves as co-chair of the Dean's Task Force on Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Fine’s areas of expertise include entrepreneurship, start-ups and angel investing. Elana writes a weekly column, “Business Rx,” for The Washington Post.
Before coming to UMD, Fine was an associate and a vice president at the Boston office of Revolution Partners, a national middle market investment bank specializing in mergers and acquisitions and private capital advisory for the technology industry. She has worked with companies in a number of industries, including enterprise and infrastructure software, technology services and digital media.
